16 November 2023Keynote Speaker at Living Cities Forum Melbourne 2023, “Infrastructures of Life”
Eva Pfannes will be one of the keynote speakers at The Living Cities Forum, Melbourne!
The Living Cities Forum is an annual assembly of leading architects and urban thinkers exploring the role of design, planning and architecture in shaping our society and environment.
While including established experts, Living Cities Forum actively seeks out and invites voices from across society to take part in deep and critical analyses of our cities. The dialogues are lively, rigorous, scientific, personal, productive and always inspirational, testing out old thinking, ushering in new perspectives, and paving the way for new, better design approaches, in all aspects of urban life.
The keynote speakers alongside Eva Pfannes are Keller Easterling, Carles Baiges Camprubí, Marina Tabassum, David T Fortin, Nashin Mahtani, Alexis Kalagas, Christian Benimana, Dr Bree Trevena.
Eva's speech, “Local prototypes for the collective future- infrastructures of life" will show how cyclic closed-loop processes found in nature are the foundation for OOZE’s intervention and integrate the human scale in urban strategies, solving complex current problems whilst exploring alternative futures.
