The article, by Meredith Lawder, based on an interview with Ooze founders Eva Pfannes and Sylvain Hartenberg, covers the questions raised by 'Water Bodies', the recent exhibition of selected Ooze works at the A/D/O gallery in New York.
The exhibition - part of 'Water Futures', a year long research programme curated by Jane Withers - brought together our work in Rio de Janeiro (Água Carioca) and Chennai (City of 1,000 Tanks), with a new study from NYC (Every Other Street) to explore the possibility of a paradigm shift. How can water be incorporated into our lives at the scale of our households, our neighbourhoods and our cities?
