The 11th São Paulo Architecture Biennale has officially opened, displaying Ooze's project Água Carioca as part of the exhibition 'Utilidade Pública' (Public Utility). Curated by Marcos Rosa, the biennale will run until end of December 2017. The exhibition can be found at Vila Itororó until 22 December and focuses on architectures aimed at transforming, adapting and qualifying the urban space to the uses of daily life, along with countless other agents involved in the city's co-production.
After a visit to São Paulo in October to engage with stakeholders, the team are now elaborating the project Água Paulista, and will be in Brazil in December to host a series of workshops discussing the application of the circular water system in the city. A public lecture will be held in Vila Itororó to present the outcome and work so far. Details to be announced.
