Lecture for 'Building our Future, of Course' @ Biosintrum, Friesland

Together with former Rijksbouwmeester Floris Alkemade, ‘Building the Future, of course’, looks at a future perspective in which we build a sustainable future. This event intends to explore not only what needs to be done, but also what we want to happen to implement a future transition, but also discussing new and local materials alongside incorporating elements of ecology, economy and socio-cultural values to reimagine our future.
Complementary to Floris Alkemade’s talk, Eva Pfannes explained her vision as an architect and urban designer in conversation with Loraine Westerneng from GreenInclusive, Sjoerd Miedema from organic farm Die Nije Mieden and Doeke van Wieren from TWA architects and Oars. This meeting was organized by De Uitkijkers in collaboration with the province of Fryslân, Arcadia, Vereniging Circulair Friesland, Biosintrum and Innovation Pact Fryslân.
